Miley Cyrus recently shared a video of her cover of the Journey classic “Faithfully.”
The cover version was performed on November 21 at the Chateau Marmont on Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood. The black and white clip, released on social media, showcases Cyrus singing the song in front of a Christmas tree. Miley was backed by Mason Stoops on guitar and Taylor Mackall on piano.
“Faithfully” is the second single from Journey’s Frontiers album. The song was written by keyboardist Jonathan Cain. It peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving the band their second consecutive top-twenty hit from Frontiers.
Meanwhile, earlier this year, Cyrus revealed in an interview that she has no plans to embark on another arena tour. She hasn’t embarked on a full-scale tour since 2014, a trek in support of Bangerz, which came out a decade ago.
