Metallica recently shared a video of “The Unforgiven” from their first-ever show in Saudi Arabia earlier this month.
On December 14, Metallica performed for the first time in Saudi Arabia at the Soundstorm Festival in the capital, Riyadh.
At the Soundstorm Festival, Metallica were joined by several other international stars, including Black Eyed Peas, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, Wiz Khalifa and 50 Cent.
Metallica was originally set to become the first Western metal act to perform in the country, but Canadian death metal band Cryptopsy got there first after playing a show at the Syrup Stage in Riyadh on December 1.
Meanwhile, Metallica are set to kick off the European leg of their ongoing M72 tour in May.
