Joni Mitchell To Perform At Grammys For First Time

Joni Mitchell has been announced as the latest performer at the 2024 Grammys.

The legendary singer-songwriter will be making her debut on the Grammy Awards stage on February 4.

The cultural icon is the latest addition to the previously announced massive lineup of Grammy performers that inclues Billie Eilish, Billy Joel, Burna Boy, Dua Lipa, Luke Combs, Olivia Rodrigo, Travis Scott and U2.

Mitchell is currently nominated for a Grammy award in the Best Folk Album Category for her 2023 live album, Joni Mitchell At Newport [Live], which was recorded at the 2022 Newport Folk Festival. The surprise performance at Newport marked her first performance in 20 years.

Mitchell is a nine-time Grammy winner, the 2022 MusiCares Person of the Year honoree, and a Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.

The 66th Grammy Awards will broadcast live from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on the CBS Television Network and will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
