John Fogerty has been announced as a headliner of Australia’s Country Fest Queensland festival in March.
Fogerty’s performance at Country Fest Queensland, which is set for March 30 and 31, 2024, will be his first in Australia since 2012. Morgan Evans, Lee Kernaghan, James Johnston and many others are on the bill as well.
According to festival reps, the Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman will perform a set of his own songs and then a second set of CCR classics.
Last year, Fogerty won the majority interest in Creedence Clearwater Revival’s discography after 50 years of trying to regain the rights to his songs.
Fogerty’s last visit to Australia was as one of the headliners of the Byron Bay Bluesfest.
