Blondie have announced an extra show at Halifax Piece Hall this summer due to huge demand.
The new wave band’s first outdoor show at the Halifax venue set to take place on Sunday, June 9, has been sold out. They have now added a second on Friday, June 7, 2024, at the same venue. Tickets for the extra show go on sale at 9 am GMT on Friday, January 19.
“Due to popular demand, we’ll see you for a second night during June at @ThePieceHall in Halifax, West Yorkshire! Tickets on sale Friday at 9 am.” the band tweeted.
The band have also been announced for the very first Plymouth Summer Sessions, alongside Tom Jones, Bryan Adams, Madness and Sting. They’re also set to headline the Cruel World Festival in Pasadena, California with Duran Duran and Interpol.
Blondie’s most recent album is 2017’s Pollinator. They also released their first archival project, Against The Odds: 1974 -1982, in 2022.
