Stephen Stills To Release New Album ‘Live At Berkeley 1971’

Iconic Artists Group and Omnivore Recordings have announced that Stephen Stills will release a previously unreleased live album on April 28.

Culled and hand-picked by Stills from his archive, Stephen Stills Live At Berkeley 1971 is a 14-track collection of previously unreleased era-defining live performances from his tour recorded over two nights at the Berkeley Community Theater in Berkeley, California, in August, 1971.

The collection opens with Stills’ biggest hit, “Love the One You’re With,” the first single unveiled from the album.

It features a seamless medley of “49 Bye Byes and “For What It’s Worth,” unexpectedly played on piano. David Crosby appears on “You Don’t Have To Cry” and “The Lee Shore.”

Stephen Sills Live at Berkeley 1971 is now available for pre-order in 2LP, CD, digital, and a deluxe package. The deluxe package, encased inside a premium box, contains 2LP, four 8×10 photos by famed photographer Henry Diltz taken during Stills’ first solo tour, and a numbered limited-edition self-portrait framed lithograph, av4ailable exclusively at Stephen Stills Webstore.

The reissue was produced jointly by Kevin McCormick and Stephen Stills.
