Community College and HyVee are partnering together to offer a
Learning with Lunch educational workshop that will be at noon at the
Western Iowa Tech Community College campus in Cherokee and will last
approximately 45 minutes to one hour. Cost is $6 per person which
covers the cost of a light lunch and pre-registration the day before

re-enactment of Roosevelt on the campaign trail in his bid for the

There will be a Benefit Show for UNICEF to aid the people affected
by the drought and famine in the Horn of Africa at The Gathering Place
at 7 p.m. All proceeds
will go to UNICEF.

elementary kids will meet on Fridays at the Roosevelt Elementary School
from 3:15-4:30 p.m. This will be a fun time of Bible stories, games,
songs, snacks and more. If interested have your child pick up a permission
slip in the office at Roosevelt. A permission slip is required to attend.
The Cherokee Regional Medical Center Auxiliary will
meet the 2nd Friday of each month. The meetings will be held at noon in
the Education Room next to the cafeteria. Everyone is encouraged to
attend.
Terrific Toddlers will meet one Saturday a month at
the Library at 10:30
a.m. 1-2-3-4 year olds, accompanied by a responsible person will meet for
stories, puppetry, finger plays, flannel board stories, a simple craft, a
snack and lots of fun!
